We are actively recruiting field technicians in all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Work involves physical visits to properties in your local market.
Scheduling is flexible within assignment completion windows. Available assignments vary by location and client demand; joining the network does not guarantee work.
Tell us where you work ↗Independent field technicians receive 70–80% of the applicable inspection fee for each successful report. Reports 1–32 each week earn 70%; report 33 onward earns 80% for the remainder of that week. The weekly count runs Monday through Sunday, based on the date each report is completed, and resets every Monday. Inspection fees vary by assignment, so compensation is not a fixed dollar amount. For example, a $45 inspection fee produces a $31.50 payout at 70% or $36 at 80%. These examples are gross compensation before contractor expenses and taxes, not guaranteed earnings or assignment volume. Payments are deposited every Friday.

The inspection fee is not always $45. Your payout is calculated from the applicable fee for each assignment. This example is not an hourly rate or a promise of earnings.
Every assignment follows the same simple four-step process. You'll know exactly what to do before you leave your driveway.
New jobs post to your state's board as orders come in. Sign in with your Blue Hawk-registered Gmail to claim one — first technician to claim it gets the assignment.
Claiming reveals the full property address and opens your mobile field form automatically. Pull up at the property and you're ready to go.
Capture 6 required photos, select occupancy verdict, rate exterior condition, and add any field notes.
Hit submit. Photos upload to Drive, PDF compiles automatically, and your completed report counts toward your weekly pay.
No inspection license required. This is an exterior-only documentation role — if you can drive, photograph, and follow a checklist, you qualify.
A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required. Mileage is your responsibility as an independent contractor.
A smartphone capable of clear photos and mobile-browser uploads is required. A Gmail address is required for assignments, job claiming, and pay notifications.
You'll work properties in your area. Knowing your local streets and neighborhoods is an advantage.
Assignments are time-sensitive. Each job has a Requested Completion Date chosen by the client. Once you claim a job you must complete and submit it by 11:59 PM local time on that date, and we typically need same-day or next-day turnaround.
Photo quality and accuracy matter. Blurry, incomplete, or incorrect submissions don't count toward pay. Take your time, do it right.
This is independent contractor work. You are not a Blue Hawk employee. You set your own schedule and are responsible for your own taxes.
Every report must meet these standards to count toward your weekly pay. Partial submissions are not paid.
